We strive to provide students, parents and teachers with comprehensive and professional counselling services. Throughout the fiscal year of 20/21, we have provided 46 primary schools with comprehensive school social work service, which team included registered social workers with bachelor degree, student counsellors and social work supervisors to integrate the five core values of Catholic teachings (values for life, family, virtue, justice and truth) into counselling.
Services Currently Provided:
We provide 11 secondary schools with school social work service in line with integrated youth services. Our interventions revolve around students’ personal and family needs while tapping into community resources for learning opportunities. Through partnership and counselling, we help students to overcome difficulties in school work, social relations and emotional development to realize their potential as well as to prepare them for coming-of-age challenges through strengthening of body, mind and spirit. Forms of intervention include consultation, counseling, service referral, mass program and group activities, seminars and community liaison.
We strive to serve kindergarten, primary, secondary and tertiary schools, organizing for students a wide variety of developmental activities as well as training and counselling groups. Our aim is to nurture students’positive attitude in adversity while equipping them with knowledge and skills to face up to challenges. We also strive to strengthen connections between students, families, schools and communities, fostering a school environment in which students can grow into self-reliant, confident and purposeful persons.
