Service Objective:
Through the application of technology, this project helps service users face their inner-self and against addiction. Based on the theory of CUE-EXPOSURE THERAPY, we show clients clues in a safe environment and practice repeatedly to reduce their response to drugs stimulus. Through virtual reality technology, social workers and drugs abusers find out the stimulus and protective factors the simulated high-risk scenes and provide instant counseling, so as to enhance the confidence in resisting drugs temptation. In addition to group and individual counseling, we provide public education to students and the community through innovative technologies including augmented reality, face-changing programs and holographic projections.
