Service goals

The Project aims to build up and strengthen community support network for ethnic minorities living in Yau Tsim Mong district, promote mutual understanding among ethnic minorities and Chinese communities, and improve the life quality of deprived ethnic minority families.  With the concerns about the needs of ethnic minorities, the Project provides diversified services, which include learning support, health and mental health support, personal development programmes, firefighting programmes, cultural events and street-based outreaching services.  To create an inclusive and cohesive community where ethnic minorities in the Yau Tsim Mong district thrive, characterized by mutual respect, understanding, and support among diverse cultural groups, ultimately leading to a vibrant, empowered, and interconnected society.

Services Currently Provided:

  1. Community Support: Community kitchen, life support programs, learning support groups, Chinese interest groups, community resource sharing sessions, cleaning staff groups, elderly groups, fire prevention seminars.
  2. Health Enhancement: Health check stations, health talks, holistic activities.
  3. Cultural Integration: Cultural awareness training, festival celebrations, such as： Dashin, Diwali, Lunar New Year, etc.
  4. Outreach Services: Street stations, home visits.
