Service Objectives:
Caritas Labour-Friendly Communities Project is centered on health, safety, and dignity, providing support to cleaning workers to maintain and protect their physical well-being while reducing work-related strain. The project assists cleaning workers in enhancing their self-awareness of health management, encourages their participation in improving workplace conditions, and leverages community resources to address their long-term needs. This ensures that workers can operate in a safe and respectful community, fostering a labour-friendly environment.

Vision:
We aim to effectively utilize community resources and adopt a bottom-up, cross-disciplinary approach to raise awareness about the living and working conditions of cleaning workers. Together, we strive to build a "Labour-Friendly Community."

Target Groups:
Cleaning workers, Property management and cleaning industries, Schools, Churches, Community members, etc.

Service Areas:
Primarily serving Central & Western District, Southern District, Kwai Chung, and other areas across Hong Kong.

   • Traditional Chinese Medicine consultation and subsidized treatment
   • Pain relief programs
2. Building Community Support Networks:
   • Community Safety Ambassador training
   • Holistic Health Mutual Support Groups
   • Community Sports Training Teams
   • Multicultural exchange programs
3. Promoting a Labour-Friendly Workplace Culture:
   • Wellness Hour Package Program
   • Cross-disciplinary social innovation projects
   • Community listening and education programs
