Project Careerpillar

Service Overview

Project Careerpillar is a career support service sponsored by the Simon K. Y. Lee Karen’s Fund and organised by Caritas Youth and Community Service. It is designed for young adults aged 25 to 39 who hold a university degree or above.

To date, the project has successfully provided career support to over 150 working young people. We firmly believe that career planning goes beyond careful thought—it must begin with action.

If you are willing to “give it a try”, you will definitely gain something from it.

Target Participants
  • Young adults aged 25 to 39 who hold a university degree or above
  • Able to commit to participating in activities for 12 to 15 months

Through activities and exploration tools, participants gain insight into their core identity, values, and past experiences.

Practical workplace skills (such as personal branding and job search strategies) are provided, along with up-to-date information on various industries.

Participants can join thematic groups or receive one-on-one professional counselling to obtain objective career guidance and pathway planning.

Participants engage in hands-on work experiences, job shadowing programmes, or industry networking events to strengthen their workplace competencies.

A network of fellow travellers is built, allowing participants to connect with peers on similar career journeys for mutual exchange and support.
