Children and Youth Services
Children and Youth Centres provide group counselling, training, education, skills development and recreational activities for children and young people aged 6 to 24, as well as their families. These activities emphasise participants’ own planning and organisation, helping to enhance young people’s ability to address their own problems. The Centres also actively promote civic education, encouraging young people to care about community affairs, understand future changes in Hong Kong, prepare themselves for the future, and contribute to society.
Residential Care Services
Pei Lap Centre, Lok Yan Centre and Pei Tak Centre provide residential care for girls experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties whose families are unable to provide appropriate care and guidance. Lai Yuen and Choi Wan Hostel offer temporary accommodation and support services for families and grassroots individuals facing difficult circumstances.
Outreach Services
Through both online and community-based outreach, the service proactively connects with young people with diverse needs, providing accessible online and face-to-face support. It advocates for a supportive social environment that enables young people to thrive while creating diverse opportunities for their personal growth and development.
School Support Services
The service provides academic and personal development support for primary and secondary school students. It includes school-based after-school care services, parent-child and parenting workshops, attention training programmes for children with special educational needs, and the Outstanding Young Volunteer Award Scheme. Through comprehensive professional support for students, parents and teachers, the service promotes children's holistic development, strengthens positive parent-child relationships, and fosters the physical, mental and emotional well-being of children and their families.

The programme provides comprehensive and diversified support services for children and their families, including parent support groups, professional services for children with special educational needs, parenting education seminars and individual counselling. It aims to meet the diverse needs of families, strengthen parent-child relationships, and promote the holistic development of children.
Youth Development
The service empowers young people to discover their strengths, build self-confidence and realise their potential. We believe that every young person possesses unique talents and qualities. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, we encourage them to embrace their individuality, explore new possibilities and pursue meaningful personal development.

Community Centre Services
The service aims to encourage local residents to actively participate in community life and make full use of community centre programmes and facilities. Through a wide range of training, educational, recreational and service programmes, the community centre serves as a vibrant hub for community engagement. It also promotes neighbourliness and mutual support, encouraging residents to participate in community affairs, respond to local needs, and nurture community leaders, thereby strengthening community cohesion and enhancing quality of life.
Community Inclusion
The service promotes interaction and mutual understanding between the Chinese community and ethnic minority communities, fostering greater respect, understanding and social inclusion. It encourages people from different cultural backgrounds to support one another and work together in building an open, inclusive and harmonious community.
Community Building and Grassroots Health
Working in partnership with residents and stakeholders, the service co-creates diverse community initiatives. From identifying local needs and developing solutions to implementing community actions, it encourages active participation in community planning, strengthens social networks and communication, fosters a stronger sense of belonging and ownership, and promotes sustainable community development and local cultural heritage. The service empowers disadvantaged communities to build the knowledge and skills needed to manage their own health, while encouraging community participation and social engagement to foster healthier and more resilient communities.
Women's Empowerment
The service provides comprehensive support that empowers women to challenge social and cultural stereotypes and make informed choices about their identities and life roles. Through access to resources, opportunities and supportive platforms, women are encouraged to develop and embrace their multiple roles—as caregivers, professionals, learners, community contributors and more. By respecting every woman's right to choose her own life path, the service helps women realise their potential in their careers, families and communities while contributing to a more inclusive and equitable society.

Emotional Health Services
The service provides comprehensive mental health and emotional support for young people aged 6 to 24, helping them cope effectively with emotional challenges arising from academic studies, family, peer relationships and work. By walking alongside them through life's challenges, the service empowers young people to grow with resilience and well-being.
Substance Abuse Support Services
The service provides comprehensive support for individuals affected by substance abuse and their families through individual counselling, peer support, anti-drug education and innovative technology-based interventions. It aims to reduce the risk of relapse, enhance employability, and support individuals in rebuilding healthy and fulfilling lives.

Sustainable Circular Economy
The service provides territory-wide recycling services for computers, mobile phones, related electronic accessories and baby products. Through recycling, refurbishment and reuse, discarded items are transformed into valuable resources, promoting environmental sustainability and encouraging the public to adopt greener lifestyles. The service also places strong emphasis on social inclusion and talent development by providing workplace experience, skills training and employment support for young people and young mothers. Guided by a people-centred approach, it integrates environmental protection with social impact to help build a more sustainable future.
Cultural Heritage and Historical Education
Through exhibitions, guided tours and workshops, the service offers engaging historical and cultural experiences for the public. Visitors begin by exploring revitalised heritage buildings, where they learn about the history of the dairy farm, its distinctive architecture and the revitalisation journey. Through these experiences, the service preserves and promotes the industrial and agricultural heritage of Pok Fu Lam, strengthens connections with community memories, and inspires greater public appreciation of and participation in cultural heritage conservation.
