Community Care Fund “School-based After School Care Service Scheme” 2025-26
Service Overview
With funding support from the Community Care Fund, Caritas Youth and Community Service launched the “School-based After School Care Service Scheme” in various primary schools during the 2025/26 school year.
The programme aims to provide students in need with supervised after-school care within their own school premises, allowing them to receive appropriate and holistic support in a safe and familiar learning environment.
With this service in place, parents can work with peace of mind and improve their family’s livelihood.
The programme not only provides academic assistance and personal development support for students, but also offers counselling and referral services according to individual needs.
Parent–child and parenting workshops are organised regularly to enhance parenting skills and strengthen family relationships.
Through these efforts, the initiative strives to support children’s all-round growth, mitigate the impact of limited family resources, and reduce educational inequality.
