Give Me A Buddy Hug Community Based Recovery Project
Service Overview
This territory-wide project aims to establish a systematic and customized comprehensive follow-up service for discharged drug rehabilitated patients and their families, which focuses on four aspects: post-discharge community support, life planning, family support, and building community connection networks. The program provides diverse physical, mental, and spiritual recovery activities helping drug rehabilitation patients maintain a drug-free and healthy lifestyle in the community and effectively cope with relapse.
The plan aims to reduce the risk of relapse for drug rehabilitation patients, enhance their ability to assist in drug rehabilitation, improve their employment readiness and employment rate, increase youths’ self-efficacy in refusing drugs through preventive education, and enhance the public’s awareness towards drug abuse. It aims to create a supportive environment for drug rehabilitated patients.
